Anatomy Fundraiser

Our Goal:

For their 2019 service project the The FLB Foundation Delegates have chosen  to raise the funds to purchase a full skeleton for the Anatomy classes at Fort LeBoeuf High School. The anatomically correct skeleton being the Rudiger Anatomie Deluxe Super Skeleton with Musculature and Ligaments at a cost of $2,523.00.

How:

We are hoping to receive donations of all amounts to be able to cover the cost of the skeleton. The fundraiser will be open from May 13th to June 4th! We urge anyone ask if you have any further questions regarding the functionality of it in the classroom and benefits that can arise from it. Following the outsource fundraiser, we are conducting an in school one amongst the students as well. This will entail a competition between student’s first period classes, and the class will receive a prize. The following link provided is direct access to where donations can be placed by all.

Why:

Currently the anatomy classes only possess segments of a skeleton handed down by the previous health teachers. Anatomy classes are becoming more prominent in student’s schedules and have become a an essential class for all who want to enter the science or medical field. This would be an important addition for every class she teaches. We are looking for donations of $5, $10, and $20. Anyone who donates $20 or more will be entered in a drawing to name the skeleton. Please make sure to include the student and/or homeroom that solicited your donation in the comments section. If you would like to make a donation to the FLB Foundation, you may contribute by check or online via this website: Contributions made by check should be payable to: Fort LeBoeuf School District Foundation 931 High Street PO Box 810 Waterford, PA 16441
